All games in all divisions are on as scheduled today, Saturday, May 11. If there are thunderstorms, refs may clear the fields. 

 Today, Saturday, May 11, at U10, U12 and U14 games MYS will observe a moment of silence before each home game in honor of the Utah recreational soccer referee, Ricardo Portillo, who died last Saturday. Portillo was punched by a player after issuing a yellow card in a game. This was a tragic end for a man who loved soccer and gave a lot of his time to youth soccer.

 Marshfield Youth Soccer players and coaches must abide by the Coastal Youth Soccer League Zero Tolerance Policy (link: here.) which states, in part "No one is to address the referee during the game. This includes audible comments questioning calls and/or abusive or defaming comments.
Exceptions for Persons Responsible for a team (Coaches on sidelines)
During the Game: Responding to a referee initiating a communication, making substitutions, pointing out emergencies or safety issues.
At half time or at the end of game: A coach may ask a referee to clarify a decision in a polite and constructive way.

Travel teams represent the town of Marshfield and should conduct themselves with exemplary sportsmanship at all times.  Fair play and good sportsmanship should be the goal of every coach in every age group.

Marshfield Youth Soccer registration is for both fall and spring seasons and runs May 15th - August 15th. Late fee applies to registration received after July 15th, at which time wait lists may be be started and placement on teams is not guaranteed.

Late registration does not apply to the HS age Players (U15 and above) as they only play in the Spring, or to players new to MYS.
